My Class of 2019

“Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey
to fulfill your own purpose and potential.” – Kerry Washington

I wanted to take a moment to recognize all of my students from the amazing Class of 2019! I always refer to them as “my kids”, because I feel so connected and proud of each and every one of them. It is a big privilege and special responsibility to be a senior photographer, and be the one tasked with marking the graduation milestone for these students and their families.

I also feel so invested in their futures, and the things they are headed off to next. Some are heading into the medical field to become nurses or doctors, some are forging paths ahead in the field of mental health services, and some are going into the military or law enforcement to protect our country. Still others are heading into business or marketing fields, or into trades like agricultural business or the work force (I had one dog trainer and a pastry chef!). I hope each of them know how important they are to our world, and that they will leave their special mark on their communities, no matter what they do next.

To the Class of 2019, never forget to keep your heads held high, and work hard. Be kind, and remember everyone who has supported you and been there for you along your journey. People may remember what you’ve done, but they will also remember the way you treated them, and I know you will all do a stellar job…you are the most kind, compassionate and delightful group of graduates yet…thank you for allowing me to be part of your moment! I wish you all the blessings and love you deserve.
