Laura Luft Photography named Top 50 Up and Coming Photographer
This year, the Top 50 contest put out by the Twelfth Year changed so it now covers established and up and coming photographers! This was a really exciting change, and helped those of us who are still honing our craft, with a specialized split. I entered this year, with hopes of making an honorable mention, and I made it into the Top 50! I am so honored to have been chosen, and wanted to share some of the images I entered into the competition. When choosing my selections, I wanted to enter a wide variety, and show my range of locations and poses. I love all of these, and am so grateful for the honor.
This is the fifth year of the competition, and it has grown steadily year over year! It is different than other contests, because the judging panel offers feedback and criteria after the selections are made, in order to help all the entrants grow and learn from the experience. I look forward to gleaning more insight on my images!
The Twelfth Year is an organization dedicated to helping grow and challenge portrait photographers. They specialize in resources for senior portraiture artists, and they offer so many helps, from Facebook groups to mentoring opportunities.
