All the photography I do I enjoy different parts of each. I love the romance and quick changing pace of weddings, and the connections between family members at a family session. At senior sessions I love seeing them confident and looking amazing! The first 15 minutes of each senior session is me guiding them in posing: how to stand, eye placement, hand placement. Usually about 30 minutes into a senior session all of a sudden it clicks and as I say ” they turn it on”. I can literally see their confidence in how they are looking pop through my eye piece on the camera. I seriously love when that happens at a session!
I also love senior sessions because of where I am in life. I love meeting these “kids” and hearing their hope and dreams! Or their indecision in what they want to do. I am a prime example of being unsure as it wasn’t until about 7 years ago, in my “um-hum” 30’s, I figured out “what I want to be when I grow up.” I love hear what they hope to become and I love letting know it’s ok if they don’t know! I just think what a great time in their lives they are in! They have to ability to do anything!
These two lovely ladies are the first of my many Class of 2015 Seniors this year! These girls are both outgoing and amazing! I look forward in following them in all they do! I can’t think of any better way to kick of the “senior season”!
Meet Ariana…she came to me all the way from Michigan! I hoped and prayed that we rain free weather for her date…as she was only home for a day or two! She moved from our area about two years ago and she doing amazing in Michigan! We Facetimed ahead of her session so we could brainstorm and talk ideas for her session! I LOVE how HER idea of taking a prom dress into the water turned out! ( I even got to take pictures of her sister in a few! :))

And here’s my girl Breyana, love this country girl! She was off to a country concert the evening of her session…so you know I love that! 😉 We had to delay her session by a day because of rain…but so glad we did! It was an beautiful day for her session!!!

Seriously loving my new blog and being able to share more! Enjoy!
