I am sure that this September 19th it won’t be nearly as cold as it was the day we did this snowy engagement session! The truth is we actually waited for a day to be out of the single digits (or negative temps!) to have the session! If I remember right it was still in the teens, so these two did amazing at looking warm!
Every time a I book a wedding I get excited for each couple’s wedding and how they will make “their” day special. I had the same feeling for these two as they are farm kids, and of you course so am I, so I look forward to seeing this country wedding will unfold at one of his family farm locations. I have NO doubt it won’t be amazing. I do have to admit I did have another feeling when I booked their wedding….I felt old! LOL, I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. I can completely remember when I heard the news his mom was expecting and then when he arrived and the announcement that he was a he! Time moves SO quickly and with the signing of their contract, and the dose of reality on my age, I hugged my own babies a little tighter. I know in a blink my babies too, someday, will be getting married too. All the more reasons to take pictures of the memories now!
Kaitlyn and Philip did such an awesome job throughout these pictures! When we were all done I’m pretty sure they were both soaked from the waist down from trekking through the snow! I am so excited and honored they picked us to capture and celebrate this awesome life moment! I hope you enjoy these and I have no doubt that you can’t see how much they adore each other in their images! 🙂

These are beautiful. Congratulations!!
