Where have I been?

Well any of you that have followed me over the years know that social media is NOT my strength! Every workshop I go to I hear the same thing….be on Facebook, Twitter, Blog daily, etc to get your name out there. Well, the truth is…I hope that if my work is good enough that word of mouth will get my name out there. I tend to not want to be in everyone’s face all the time. Truthfully I’m kinda a private person. You won’t see many “personal” posts about my crazy life! Just because I’m not sure anything is really THAT interesting in my crazy life! LOL

But today will be one of the few exceptions! The last couple weeks, although I have been doing sessions here and there, (which will be on the blog soon) I have been enjoying family time! I love photographing people, I really do, but I LOVE just hanging with our family and friends too. So although it’s the busiest time of year for photographers…I have opted to take family time as well!

I thought I would share some of our adventures in the last few weeks with you all! In three weeks we have gone to the county fair with my daughter’s three dairy cows, gone to the mountains for a trip, celebrated my girls turning another year older and have attend two country concerts! All have been amazing and wonderful!!! If I don’t work, well, I don’t get paid. Let me tell you….I highly recommend not worrying about the money and spending time with family! Make some memories! I can make money in 20 years, but this time with my family I can never get back!

Here are just a FEW of the pictures from our last 3 weeks! Not only did I enjoy my family but I got to check something off my bucket list! I got to meet Mr. Luke Bryan AND get a picture with him! 🙂 (I am a HUGE fan!!!) My BFF and I took our girls to see him, and not only did I win a meet and greet to meet him, but he came down off the stage to shake our girls hands! His drummer Kent brought each of the girls a drum stick at the end of the night. Not to mention we got to meet “black Mike” who makes all of Luke Bryan’s LBTV shows! Just an all around amazing night.

I hope you enjoy a little peek into my life! It’s not all peaches and cream here in our house, but lately it’s been great. And I enjoy EVERY minute of it! So thankful for my amazing husband and these little kiddos who do drive me crazy at times…but who bring so much to our lives!
