I also am experienced enough to know how to manage digital files, multiple lenses, and how to coax a smile from even the most recluctant subject. I painstakingly prepare by scouting locations, looking over outfits and offering suggestions, and getting to know my clients from the moment we meet. That preparation sets me apart and makes the sessions truly remarkable.
-Professionals will ultimately do a better job on what matters: If you know someone who is a casual photographer, it can be really tempting to have them shoot your important milestones. Surely, it’s more affordable and can be less intimidating. Maybe they can schedule you at the drop of a hat, and let’s be honestly, maybe you’ll even get a good shot or two. But the reality is, a new or inexperienced photographer can miss so many things, such as posing or lighting, and you’ll never get that session back.
