Sometimes, when people see a family with children all of the same gender, they feel like making comments about it. But this precious family is just the opposite; they are a proud all-girl family and they love it. They feel all their daughters are blessings, and dad is so gentle and sweet with all of them. I enjoyed taking their photos and loved the way the fall colors worked with their elegant color scheme!
Doing a family session is something that can feel like coordinating a ton of “moving parts”, especially for you moms and dads. I understand; it can take a lot of work and sometimes, that work feels like stress! I have worked hard over the years to hone an experience that makes every family feel at ease, and excited for their session instead of dreading the inevitable meltdowns or rushing around with little ones. When we first get an inquiry for a family shoot, we make sure to communicate all the information clearly, so that parents feel confident and ready. There is nothing worse than thinking one thing, and being surprised with a completely different thing on the day of a shoot…it’s what I try to avoid! Whether it’s outfits or location, I also make myself available to answer questions about things that may pop up from time to time. On the day of the sessions, my clients often tell me that they feel so much better than they did with other photographers.
